Kimberly Novak has always been interested in creating works of art. Since she was a small child, Kim has been drawing or painting creatively. However, she was at a loss for what to do with her talent. |
After years of working her way through various jobs, Kim stumbled upon a new way to show her talent.
|
| Kim's mother had three wooden chairs that needed to be re-stained and varnished. Kim thought, "Why not paint the chairs and add a decorative touch?" The chairs turned out so beautifully that they put the kitchen cabinets to shame. |
 |
| Those too needed Kim's touch. The "new" kitchen was a hit with family and friends, and "Touched by an Artist" was born. |

Over the years, Kim has learned a variety of painting techniques for walls, furniture, cabinets and more. She works well with interior decorators and designers and she has a great eye for color.
Kim's work was featured in "Better Homes and Gardens" magazine in 2002. Her decorative touch led the judges to choose her client's powder room as the first place winner in the Nation. The award was definitely a feather in Kim's cap!
Kim, however, considers her true reward to be the look on a child's face when they see their room has been "Touched by an Artist". The job satisfaction for this talented artist is beyond her wildest dreams!
